What this is about

myCircuits is a collection app for motorsport fans. You record which race circuits you have been to as a spectator. Use is free of charge.

Account

An account is optional and serves to sync between several devices. Signing in works through a link or a numeric code sent to your email address; there is no password.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You must not create an account for another person or use someone else's email address. You can delete your account at any time in the settings.

What you set yourself

You are responsible for your display name. Insulting, unlawful, youth-endangering names or names infringing the rights of others are not allowed, nor are names pretending to be another person or organisation.

You are equally responsible for your profile picture. Upload only pictures you hold the rights to and on which no other person is recognisable without their consent. Unlawful, offensive or age-inappropriate pictures are not allowed. Every picture is looked at before it is published; we may reject it without stating reasons.

If content breaches this, we may remove it and, in case of repetition, block the account. You can report content to us through the reporting function or at the contact address.

Content of the app

The circuit data has been researched to the best of our knowledge, mostly from official sources of the circuits and the FIA. Even so, details may be outdated or wrong. Do not rely on them when travelling; check dates and opening times with the organiser.

The drawn circuit outlines come from OpenStreetMap and are available under the Open Database License. The map imagery comes from Esri.

Availability and liability

Continuous operation is not guaranteed. The app is a private project without any service commitment.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, likewise for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. In cases of simple negligence we are liable only for breach of material contractual obligations and limited in amount to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

Back up your collection yourself. The backup function in the settings exists for that.

Changes

These terms may change, for instance when new features are added. We will announce material changes in the app. If you keep using it afterwards, the new terms apply.

German law applies. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
